Phillip Landis   Trevor Daugherty
 

Phillip Landis is the son of Judy and Phillip Landis of Wrightsville. Currently, Phil is enrolled in Academic English, Metal Manufacturing III, Senior Weight Training and Advanced Placement Physics. Last semester Phil was enrolled in Energy, Power and Control, Advanced Biology, Honors Physics and Academic World Design.

Throughout his high school career, Phil has participated in the following activities: Eastern York High School Wrestling. He served as Treasurer in 10 th grade and Team Captain in 11 th & 12 th grades. In his junior and senior year he participated in the Premium Wrestling Team and was a District Wrestling Champion. Phil is also a member of the National Honor Society.

Phil will be attending Elizabethtown College, where he will pursue a degree in Pre-Med.

 

Trevor Daugherty is the son of Wendi and Michael Daugherty of York. Trevor is currently enrolled in World Design, Intro to Graphic Communications, and School to Work. Last semester Trevor completed English, Math and School to Work.

While at Eastern York High School, Trevor has received the Good Citizenship Award and the Technology Education Award. He has been on Honor Roll in 11 th and 12 th grades.

Trevor is a member of the Christ UM Church, and the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and farming.

Trevor plans to attend Trade School for a career in Plumbing or Electrical work.

Kirsten Robinette   Holly Rohrer
 

Kirsten Robinette is the daughter of Sue and Stephen Royer of York, and Kenneth Robinette of York. Currently, Kirsten is enrolled in Advanced Placement World History, Probability and Statistics, Spanish III, and Advanced Placement Physics. Last semester Kirsten was enrolled in Advanced Biology, Honors Physics, Desktop/Web Publishing, and Dual Enrollment College English.

Throughout her high school career, Kirsten has participated in the following activities: Science Olympiad, National Honor Society, Student Ambassador to Australia, and JV Volleyball.

Kirsten has ranked 1 st in her class since 9 th grade. She has received the Math and English Department Awards.

Kirsten will be attending West Virginia University, where she will major in Forensic and Investigative Sciences.

 

Holly Rohrer is the daughter of Kimberly and Randall Rohrer of York. Holly is currently enrolled in Sociology and Psychology, World Design, Child Development, and Academic English. Last semester Holly completed Academic Physics, Contemporary Issues, Aquaculture and Food Science, and Intro to Graphic Communications.

While at Eastern York High School, Holly has participated in the following: Marching Band, where she served as Secretary, Concert Band, and Pit Band. She is also in the Youth Group at Valley View Alliance Church.

Holly earned the Business Department Award in her junior year.

olly has applied to Lancaster Career and Technology Center, where she plans to earn a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse

Cole Fisher   Emily Kurzik
 

Cole Fisher is the son of Charles and Barbara Fisher of Wrightsville, and Melanie Fisher of Harrisburg. Currently, Cole is enrolled in Academic World Design, Child Care, English, and Senior Elective Physical Education.

Throughout his school career, Cole has participated in the following activities: Varsity Football, Golf, Student Council, Ski Club, Hunting, Fishing, and Kayaking.

Cole also volunteered with his Church Group to help with the cleanup after the Katrina disaster.

Cole has applied to Penn State York and York College. He plans to major in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education.

 

Emily Kurzik is the daughter of Linda and George Kurzik of York. Emily is currently enrolled in the following classes: Academic English, Honors Chemistry, German IV, and Advanced Placement World History, Senior Chorus and Orchestra.

While at Eastern York High School, Emily has participated in the following: Varsity Field Hockey, National Honor Society, Interact, where she served as President, Orchestra, Pit Orchestra and York Youth Symphony. Emily has also studied abroad for one year in Germany with the Youth Exchange Program, and the PMEA District 7 Orchestra.

Emily has applied to George Mason University, Virginia Tech, University of Mary Washington, Hofstra University and York College. She plans to Dual Major in Global Affairs or International Business Affairs and German.

Carrie Page   Justin Myers
 

Carrie Page is the daughter of Diane and Roland Page of York. Carrie is currently enrolled in Academic English 12, Academic Physics, Art Studio, and Senior Style Seminar. For the spring semester Carrie is scheduled for, Advanced Placement World History, Intro to Graphic Communications and School to Career as a Teaching Assistant.

While at Eastern York High School, Carrie has participated in the following: National Honor Society, Science Olympiad, Interact Club, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Orchestra, Marching Band were she served as Drum Majors for 2 years, and Eastern York Dollars for Scholars. Carrie has also participated in the Broadway Knights Pit Orchestra and Tech Crew.

Carrie plans on attending Harrisburg Area Community College, then transferring to Kutztown University to pursue a major in Art Education.

 

Justin Myers is the son of James and Linda Myers of Wrightsville. Currently, Justin is enrolled in Academic English, Academic World Design, Academic Physics, and Senior Weight Training. For the spring semester Justin is scheduled for, Video Production, Algebra III and Trigonometry, and, School to Career as a Nursing Assistant.

Throughout his high school career, Justin has participated in the following activities: The Varsity Club, Varsity Football, and Varsity Basketball. He also participated in Mock Crash and the 18 th annual York/Adams Safe Driving Competition for Youth. Justin also was chosen to represent Eastern York School District at the Rotary Youth Leadership Conference at Messiah College.

Justin plans to major in Nursing. He has applied to York College, Lebanon Valley College, and Lancaster General College of Nursing.

Jack Gotwalt IV   Lindsay
 

Jack Gotwalt IV is the son of Linda Bayman of Wrightsville, and Jack Gotwalt. Jack is currently enrolled in Engineering Technology, Advanced Placement English, Honors Physics, and Spanish IV. For the spring semester, Jack is scheduled for Advanced Placement World History, Calculus, and School to Career.

Throughout his high school career, Jack has participated in the following activities: Track & Field, Cross Country, where he served as Team Captain, Student Council Executive Committee, Vice President of Interact Club, Student Technical Director for the Spring Musical and The Fall Play, Broadway Knights, and Petty Officer US Naval Seal Cadet Corp.

Jack earned The Wendy’s High School Heisman Award.

Jack plans to major in Political Science or Mechanical Engineering. He has applied to the US Air Force Academy, US Naval Academy, US Merchant Marines, and various Universities.

 

Lindsay Arnold is the daughter of Mark and Virginia Arnold of Wrightsville. Lindsay is currently enrolled in Academic English, Personal Finance, Contemporary Issues, Senior Elective Physical Education, Senior Chorus and Concert Choir. In the spring, Lindsay is scheduled for Advanced Placement World History, Accounting I, Probability and Statistics, Sociology and Psychology, Senior Chorus and Concert Choir.

Throughout her high school career, Lindsay has participated in the following: Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Softball, Varsity Club Treasurer, Class Treasurer, the Spring Musical, Chorus and Chorale. Lindsay was also a member of the Homecoming Court.

Lindsay has applied to York College and Mount St Mary’s University.

Morgan Wambaugh   Danielle Krohn
 

Morgan Wambaugh is the daughter of Roberta and Cullen Wambaugh of Hellam Township. Currently, Morgan is enrolled in Advanced Biology, Art I, Advanced Placement English, Honors Physics, Jazz Band, Concert Band, and Orchestra. For the spring semester, Morgan is scheduled for Probability and Statistics, Advanced Placement Physics, Spanish III, and Intro to Piano.

Throughout her high school career, Morgan has been a member of the Field Hockey Team. She has participated in National Honor Society, Science Olympiad all four years of high school and played in Pit Orchestra for the Broadway Knights Musical. Morgan also represented Eastern York High School at the Rotary Youth Leadership Summer Program, in June 2009.

Morgan received the Science Department Award in 9 th grade. She has been on Superior Honor Roll every semester, and was ranked in the top ten of her class in 9 th and 10 th grades.

Morgan plans to major in Forensic Science. She has applied to Ursinus College, Arcadia University and Franklin & Marshall College.

 

Danielle Krohn is the daughter of David Krohn and the late Leslie Krohn of Wrightsville. Danielle is currently enrolled in Academic English, Honors Physics, Calculus, Advanced Biology, and Academic World Design. For the spring semester, Danielle is scheduled for Senior Elective Physical Education, Calculus, Art II and Child Care.

While at Eastern York High School, Danielle has participated in the following: National Honor Society, Varsity Club, and Varsity Soccer. She served as Manager for Eastern York High Schools boy’s soccer team, and was on Superior Honor Roll every semester. Danielle also is a member of the Hershey Attack Soccer Team; they compete around the country in college showcase games.

Danielle plans to major in Elementary Education and has applied to The University of Kentucky.

Amy Hoenstine   Conner Nafziger
 
     

Amy Hoenstine is the daughter of Lauren and Robert Hoenstine of Hellam. Currently, Amy is enrolled in Academic English, Honors Physics, Design Concepts and Senior Style Seminar. For the spring semester, Amy is scheduled for Advanced Placement World History, Calculus, Advanced Architectural Design, and Probability and Statistics.

Throughout her high school career, Amy has participated in the following activities: National Honor Society, Interact, After School Tutoring, Marching Band, Concert Band, Science Olympiad, and Cross Country, where she served as Captain and received her Varsity Letter.

Amy is an Honor Roll student, and is in the Top Ten of her class.

Amy plans on attending a four year college to pursue a major in Architecture. She has applied to Drexel University, and Philadelphia University.

 

Conner Nafziger is the son of Wendy and Patrick Nafziger of Wrightsville. Conner is currently enrolled in Academic English, Video Production, Honors Physics, Spanish IV, Concert Band, Jazz Band and Orchestra. In the spring, he is scheduled for Advanced Placement World History, Probability and Statistics, Advanced Architectural Design, and Intro to Graphic Communications.

While at Eastern York High School, Conner has participated in the following: National Honor Society, Marching Band, where he served as President, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Orchestra, and Track & Field.

Conner was selected to participate in the Rotary Youth Leadership Conference.

Conner plans on attending a four year college to pursue a major in Music Business Technology. He has applied to Lebanon Valley College and Bloomsburg University.

Cheyenne Layman   Morgan Graby
 

Cheyenne Layman is the daughter of Jeff and Ramona Goss of Wrightsville, and John Layman. Currently, Cheyenne is enrolled in Advanced Placement English, Honors Physics, Advanced Biology, and Design Concepts. For the spring semester, Cheyenne is scheduled for Advanced Placement World History and Physics, Sociology and Psychology and Probability & Statistics.

Throughout her high school career, Cheyenne has participated in the following activities: National Honor Society, Interact Club, Library Club and Science Olympiad.

Cheyenne has received Department Awards in English and Art and was ranked in the top 5 of her class 9 th, 10 th, and 11 th grades.

Cheyenne plans to major in Psychology, and has applied to Bucknell University, Gettysburg College, Washington & Jefferson College, and Dickinson College.

 

Morgan Graby is the daughter of Kimberly and Jeffrey Graby of Wrightsville. Morgan is currently enrolled in Academic English and Physics, School to Career and Orchestra. In the spring, she is scheduled for Advanced Placement World History, Advanced Piano and School to Career.

While at Eastern York High School, Morgan has participated in the following: York Youth Symphony Orchestra 9 th-12 th, National Honor Society, Track & Field, Cross Country and Orchestra.

Morgan has received the following Academic Department Awards; Music, English and Business and was ranked in the top ten of her class for 9 th, 10 th, & 11 th grades.

Morgan has applied to Indiana University of Bloomington, Gettysburg College and Baldwin-Wallace College where she plans to obtain a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance.

Drew Jeffrey   Rachel Chronister
   

Drew Jeffrey is the son of Deborah and Steven Jeffrey of Wrightsville. Currently, Drew is enrolled in Engineering Technology, Music Theory, Orchestra, and Dual Enrollment English and Math. For the spring semester, Drew is scheduled for Advanced Placement World History and Chemistry, Advanced Piano, and Spanish II.

Throughout his high school career, Drew has participated in the following activities: National Honor Society, Model UN, Science Olympiad, Orchestra, Concert Band and Marching Band.

Drew has earned Department Awards in Math, English, Science and Social Studies. He was also awarded AP Scholar, and has been in the Top 10 in class rank for 9 th, 10 th, and 11 th grades.

Drew plans to major in Electrical Engineering and has applied to Carnegie Melon, Bucknell University, Lafayette College, University of Delaware, and the University of Virginia.

 

Rachel Chronister is the daughter of Ann and Steven Chronister of Windsor. Rachel is currently enrolled in Advanced Biology, Honors Physics, Personal Finance and Contemporary Issues. In the spring, she is scheduled for Academic English, Spanish III, Calculus, and Senior Elective Physical Education.

While at Eastern York High School, Rachel has participated in the following: Varsity Field Hockey, where she served as captain for 2 years, Varsity Basketball (9 th -12 th grade), Varsity Track and Field, Varsity Club President, and National Honor Society Secretary.

Rachel has received the Social Studies Academic Award, 1 ST Honors, and Superior Honor Roll.

Rachel has applied to Shippensburg University, Millersville University, York College and Lancaster General College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Rachel plans to major in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
