1. School to Work Internship Program

 
       
  Who: Seniors  
  What: Learn about specific career area and "intern" at career site in community.  
  Where: Classroom instruction and intern site.  
  When: Senior year, one block of one semester class instruction, one block of one semester of interning.
 
       
   

2. CHOICES

 
   
  Who: All students and staff  
  What: Computer career exploration program  
  Where: Any computer  
  When: Anytime  
   
   

3. YCAL Mentor Program

 
   
  Who: Sophomores, juniors and seniors who have transportation.  
  What: Students paired with mentor in community based on career interests.  
  Where: At job site  
  When: Two hours a week for nine weeks.  
   
   

4. YCAL Career Opportunities Program

 
   
  Who: Juniors and seniors who do not have a specific career plan  
  What: Information on career selection information and job skills training  
  Where: School  
  When: Once a month during enrichment and a career day in the spring.  
   
   

5. Junior Acheivement

 
   
  Who: All students  
  What: Curriculum for the classroom to help make economic concepts relevant. Assist in the school to work connection.  
  Where: Classroom  
  When: Five sessions at the convenience of the teacher and JA volunteer.
